Turbacz

Turbacz (1310 m a.m.s.l.) is the highest peak of the Gorce Mountains, a mountain range located in southern Lesser Poland, and belong to the Beskid Mountains.

To the Turbacz we decided to go from the Nowy Targ, Kowaniec street. From this point leads to the summit of the mountain trails yellow and green, both of these routes connect to the blue trail in a place called Wisielakówka, from where it is very close to the shelter PTTK Turbacz. If we turn the left next to shelter PTTK Turbacz walking to red trail around 10 min later we reach the top of the Turbacz mountain.

plan of our trip

The route starts at height of about 651 meters above mean sea level and the top of the mountain Turbacz is 1310 m a. m. s. l. so height difference on this distance is 659 m. Unfortunately, on the map below is not selected the top of the mountain Turbacz 1310m.

We left by the yellow trail next to estate Oleszów between the cottages, behind it ran a path into the woods.

The route is very pleasant around the beautiful views of the mountains Gorce, a beautiful green-gold-brown tones Polish autumn. Near a place called Bukowina Miejska, we took a break for a breakfast and supplement the water :)

Expedition to Turbacz lasted more than 5,5 hours but it was a very nice and pleasant time spent, so I recommend spend time like this for all :)
