Babia Góra - literally 'Old wives' or 'Witches Mountain', is a massif situated on the border between Poland and Slovakia in the Western Beskidy Mountains. The name is also applied to the culmination of the massif, Diablak (Devill's Peak), which is also the highest peak of this the Carpathian Mountains, at 1725 metres above sea level. It belongs to the crown of the polish mountains.

We decided go from "Przełęcz Krowiarki", situated next to locality "Zawoja". Out of here leads to the top, the red trail.
far in the background Tatra mountains
Initially
the trail was quite steep and we had to to take several breaks, but after about
one hour we reached the first lookout point, it called “Nad Sokolicą” 1371 m amsl.
