Łysica is the highest mountain in Świętokrzyskie Mountains of Poland. Its height is 612 metres a.ms.l.
Łysica, which is also called Góra Świetej Katarzyny (St. Catherine’s Mountain) lies in western part of the Lysogory range, near the village of Świeta Katarzyna. It belongs to the so-called Crown of Polish Mountains, as it is the highest mountain of Holy Cross Mountains. Łysica has two peaks, eastern, and western, with the latter being higher by 4 meters.

This time we went to the highest peak of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains - Łysica, where leads the red trail from the village of Święta Katarzyna (St. Catherine).
differences in the heights
Height difference on this route is only 239m, which makes the trip to Łysica an easy, light and pleasure for anyone, so definitely you can go here for a family trip:)

Part of the route leads the path made from wooden planks and then we went up the stairs made from many of stones which are additionally secured with wooden railings on both sides.

Reach to the top didn't take us much time, leisurely pace we stepped in less than 30 minutes, so you can leisurely stroll here. I think that no one will be tired of this trip :)
