Panorama Racławicka - cycloramic painting Battle of Raclawice painted in the years 1893-1894 by a team of painters under the guidance of Jan Styk and Wojciech Kossak. Oil painting represents the battle of Raclawice (1794), one of the episodes of the Kosciuszko Insurrection, the victory of the Polish army under the command of gen. Tadeusz Kosciuszko over Russian troops under the command of gen. Alexander Tormassov.
Panorama Racławicka is an image that shows the Battle of Raclawice. But this is not a normal picture. Panorama Racławicka is up to 114 meters long and 15 meters high! One of the most important and finest works of nineteenth-century mass culture. It's located in one of branches national museum in Wroclaw.
