Lackowa (Lacková 997,1 m
above sea level) - the highest peak on the Polish side of the Low
Beskids, located between Krynica-Zdrój and Wysowa, on the border with
Slovakia.
To the top of Lackowa we went from the village of Izby, located near the Polish-Slovak border. We set off towards Tylicz along a gravel road.
From the very beginning in the distance you can see a mountain in the shape of a huge "dome", it is the Lackowa mountain.
After entering the forest you have to look for a sign with a blue arrow where you should turn into a thicket of bushes.
After a while, a very steep approach begins. In the pictures you can not see it but going to the top of it really absorbs a lot of energy.
At the top there is a sign with the word Lackowa on the Polish and Slovak side of the border.
