Wrocław 2

Wrocław (Vratislavia, Wratislavia, Breslau, Brassel, Vratislav, Boroszló) another trip to one of the most beautiful cities in Poland.

Last time we were in Wroclaw, we liked the city so much that we decided to come here again. At the beginning we came across the Grunwald Bridge.

The Grunwald Bridge is a suspension bridge across the Odra River, built in 1908–1910, the bridge was built as part of the construction of a new route (now Grunwald Square) constituting a connection between the city center and the estates and institutions of eastern Wrocław.

Medieval market square in Wrocław, currently the central part of the pedestrian zone. One of the largest Old Town markets in Europe, with the largest town halls in Poland.

Along the way, we pass the equestrian statue of Bolesław the Brave, which was erected at Świdnicka Street and unveiled on September 15, 2007. Bolesław the Brave holds the spear of St. Maurice (symbol of imperial power)

We also admire the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Wroclaw (German: Breslauer Dom, Kathedrale St. Johannes des Täufers) - a Roman Catholic gothic parish church, as well as the cathedral of Wroclaw bishops located in Wroclaw's Ostrów Tumski at Cathedral Square.
The present, fourth cathedral comes basically from the Gothic period, from the 13th to the 14th century. However, it was preceded by 3 other churches in the same place. The current shape is the effect of baroque additions and modern restaurants after the war damage. It is considered the first fully Gothic temple in Poland.

It was really nice time...so it'll be continued:)
